For years we talked about it: wouldn't it be nice to start our own camp. A camp with some apartments or cabins, so we can receive guests not only in the summer. For example ski- or snowboardfanatics in December, Januar, Februar or March, because these months there is plenty of snow in the area. Or some sociable walkers or cyclist’ in the spring and autumn. That would be marvellous! How many nights at the fire have we dreamed about that? Just having a little company with the four of us. Just being our own manager……
At the beginning of 2005 it all became “real”. Through the splendid co-operation of Dion’s then employer the dreams can become reality. After mature deliberation we all like the idea and are willing to quit our Dutch life and trade it for an Slovak adventure.
Since April 2006 we live in Slovakia and in the summer we had already many people who stayed on our little camp. They wrote their reactions in the guestbook.
